Drums and Beginner Piano

From Uniontown, OH, Sam Merendino is 24 years old and has been playing drums for 15 years and piano for 6. Sam comes from a very musical family, with a grandfather, 2 uncles and 2 cousins who have played music professionally in their lives, and that was always a huge influence on Sam. Sam tours and records with a few local artists from Akron and Cleveland. In 2021, he graduated from Kent State with a Bachelor's Degree in Music Technology, and since graduation has been teaching private lessons on drums/percussion and piano as well as gigging. Sam wants to instill a love for music in his students by keeping his lesson environments light and fun while still teaching important musical skills. When not teaching or playing, Sam loves being outside or traveling with friends.
