Emilee Sanor
Saxophone, Piano, and General Music
Emilee Sanor grew up in Salem, Ohio, and has been heavily involved in music for most of her life. She is currently in her second year of her master's degree at Kent State studying Saxophone performance and working as a graduate assistant in the band program. She received her bachelor's degree in Music Education from Malone University in 2022 primarily studying saxophone, as well as voice and piano. She has been playing saxophone for 14 years and piano for around 8 years. She plays in many different ensembles at Kent and spends her summers performing in community bands in both the Salem and Canton area. She is fascinated with unique types of music and loves discovering and playing musical styles that challenge the ordinary. Outside of music, she enjoys anime, video games, meeting new people, and making bad jokes.
