Guitar, Bass, and Piano

Christopher Brown grew up in Cleveland, Ohio, and began pursuing the guitar in childhood. He holds a Bachelor's Degree in Instrumental Music Education from Capital University. Throughout his professional experience, Chris has performed many different styles of guitar, including jazz, rock, fusion, pop, and salsa. He has performed nationally and in Ohio venues such as the Columbus Statehouse, Columbus Zoo, and the Beachland Ballroom.

Currently, Chris plays the lead guitar for several projects along with freelance work. His teaching philosophy is that music is a shared connection with all people and that anyone can learn. Lessons with Chris are structured in a way to gradually equip students with the skills needed to play the music that inspires them. Music theory, literacy, and audiation are key foundations that are introduced during this process.
